Åkerlund Glasbruk is a family workshop in Kosta, in the stretch of Småland long known for its glass. The works began as a bottle hytta and turned to tableware and studio pieces under the second generation.
We are deliberately small. Keeping the furnace lit is the hardest part of the craft, so we run a tight range, sell what we make, and teach the next pair of hands at the bench rather than growing for its own sake.
Everything is made on site. We do not resell glass made elsewhere.
